Welcome to week 4!

I'm a few days late on this one...been sick most of the week.

Now I'll have to do another one within a couple days to get back on track.

I love going to the local East Indian cloth shop for new backdrops.  This is a shimmering green material I haven't had a chance to use for anyone else yet, so it was a good opportunity to see how it worked with light.

This is with two lights on the backdrop, and a small softbox at camera-left aimed at me.  What was amazing to me was how the eyes popped with this lighting and with the deep greens in the cloth.

Although it doesn't probably look like it, the pose was really awkward.  Funny how that seems to help.
